Arthur/Merlin, Lancelot/Merlin. Merlin is tired of his friends (Arthur, Gwen and Morgana) ditching him and doing stuff without including him all the time. He cuts himself off from them. Arthur comes around a couple of months later after realizing they haven't seen Merlin in a while and is shocked to find he's got a boyfriend named Lance ... something or other. Arthur is incredibly jealous and begins working on how to break them up and have Merlin all to himself again.


Summary: In which Merlin reflects on things and realises he doesn't have to put up with this shit.

So, jamesie_boy posted this on her lj, and it looked like fun.

But then she became EVIL and gave me REALLY hard choices. She gave me Colin Morgan, Bradley James, Gareth DAvid-Lloyd and David Hewlett. Because, like is said, she is EVIL.

Snog: I'd have to be Colin. I just want to get my hands on those cheekbones. Mmmm.

Shag: Ok, ok, I'm shallow. I'd totally shag Bradley. Cos, come on! Pretty! Even though he's not really my type, he is very, very pretty.

Also, the town of Camolin that is mentioned is actually a real place. It's nothing like in the story though. It's a small town in Ireland that I always pass through when driving from the airport to visit my parents, and it makes me lol every time cos it reminds me so much of Camelot. I couldn't not use it.


Summary: When single father Merlin Emerson discovers that the man who denied him thousands of dollars that was his due has gotten amnesia, he seizes his chance for revenge by pretending to be his husband. The joke is on him though when he realises that Arthur Pennington is possibly even more wonderful that he ever could have imagined...

Today, I was offered a full time, permanent job in a residential unit that I LOVE working in, working with adults with autism.

You guys, this means I'll have MONEY again. As in, disposable income.

I CAN'T BELIEVE IT!!!!

*runs around screaming excitedly*


Ok, I know I made several 'I got the job' posts over the past few months, so let me explain.

I have a degree in social care. When I moved to England, I started working for several social care agencies. They sent me places that needed staff for the day. One agency sent me to a mental health hospital, and I loved working there. They loved me too and offered me a job.But due to legal entanglements and such, I didn't start working for them until the beginning of May. I work there as a bank healthcare assistant, meaning I work when there are shifts available when people have days off etc.

At the same time, I was working for one more agency. They sent me to lots of places, including the residential unit. They also offered me a position on bank staff, or 'care crew' as they call it. I had the interview a few weeks ago, and I got the job. THere was also some full time work going and I had the interview on Tuesday and got the email a few hours ago.

I GOT THE JOB.

Full time. Permanent. Good money for the job I'm in. Doing the job I was trained to do.


DID I MENTION IT WAS FULL TIME???

I'm so incredibly releaved, I could cry.

I did cry earlier, for an entirely different reason, but this? TOTALLY CANCELS IT OUT!!

The new series of Merlin inspired me to write fic. It had SO much potential for slashy, slashy goodness.

I missed my boys.
